Licensure Assistance Kick Off Breakfast
November 25, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am
FreeThe Hamilton-Burlington Chapter is launching a Licensure Assistance Program in your area. This program is designed to link licensed Professional Engineers (Guides) with Engineering Interns to provide guidance and support to the intern as he/she progresses towards professional licensure status.
This breakfast meeting will provide an overview of the program with a speaker from PEO headquarters presenting some insight and recommendations. We will also try to match guides with interns. Volunteers are the lifeblood of PEO and participating through the association can be a very rewarding experience that provides on-going professional skills development.
This Licensure Assistance Program is expected to run from Nov. 2017 to June 2017. You would be expected to meet with your guide/intern for at least 2 hours a month over that time period and to provide feedback to the Chapter.
Your valuable experience is needed to help guide a new intern to licensure. Volunteer to be a part of this great, new initiative by registering below! Breakfast will be provided.

About PEO
Through the Professional Engineers Act, Professional Engineers Ontario governs licence and certificate holders and regulates professional engineering in Ontario to serve and protect the public.
It fulfills the same role for engineers as the College of Physicians and Surgeons for doctors or the Law Society of Upper Canada for lawyers.
