Seasonal Family Breakfast

“Safe Holiday Season”

Saturday, December 5, 2015 – 8 to 11 A.M.

Open to all PEO Chapter members, families and friends.
Social time, fellowship and connections, plus seasonal safety tips from fire, police and hydro.

On-line registration will assist PEO with logistics at the event – walk-ins also welcome

There will be presentations and displays from several community groups to help members, their families and friends learn more about safety during the holiday season…

Burlington Fire Department
Fire Department staff will be on hand with an information table as well as a fire truck*.

Halton Police
An officer & auxiliary officer will be presenting a safeguard booth with “Seasonal Safety Tips” information.  A police vehicle* will be onsite.  Safety kits for home & business.  A guest appearance too!

Burlington Hydro
Staff will have an informative display booth with demonstrations aimed at kids relating to electrical safety.*

 

Location – OPEN DOORS, 662 Guelph Line, Burlington (at St. Christopher’s Church)

Breakfast – For everyone – pancakes (regular and vegan), syrup, fruit, juice, tea, coffee

Cost – No cost (suggested donation of $7 per person or $20 per family at the door)

Photos – Take your own – with Santa (between 8:45 and 10:15)

Face Painting – free

Music – provided by Denise Fex Entertainment

“Royal Hamilton Light Infantry Band Brass Quintet” – rhliband.ca

Optional – donation to OPEN DOORS
Bring a suitable unwrapped child’s toy (about $20) or a gift card for a teenager to donate.
Make a donation to OPEN DOORS (preferably cash, cheque or credit card).
   Tax receipts available when name and address are provided.
All proceeds to families identified by OPEN DOORS in the Hamilton-Burlington area.
